Terms and Conditions
Boreal photo tours / Harriniva is a responsible operator, all tours are planned according to Finnish legislation for health and safety,
also taking the unique environment into account.
Our tours are weather dependent. Weather up in the arctic can change within minutes and snow storms are possible. This is why fixed itinerary is not possible. Some locations, such as Finnish treeless wilderness zone are accessible only with good weather. We do have back-up plans for every kind of weather you can imagine and we try our best to deliver an unforgettable trip.
Aurora borealis is a natural phenomena. Witnessing it depends on the suns activity and local cloudiness. We cannot guarantee clear night skies, but due to our location we can deliver optimal changes to witness them.
Due to arctic conditions accidents are possible. Icy, snowy, cold and windy conditions require extra caution in everyday actions. Our main goal is to safely present the beauty of the arctic region and plan the trips carefully in advance.
We operate in three countries, Finland, Sweden and Norway. Make sure that your travel insurance covers EU and non-EU countries. We recommend an insurance also for your luggage and camera gear. All programmes are subject to change due to weather conditions.
If you have any health problems, please let us know beforehand so we can be prepared. Conditions up in the arctic include extreme temperatures down to -45. You can experience prolonged exposure to cold weather and chilly winds.
Consult medical professional if you have:
-Poor peripheral blood circulation
-Poor physical condition
-Coronary heart disease
